Sol Overview
Since it was first released in 2006, Mersive’s Sol software has revolutionized high performance display setup and maintenance enabling a new class of displays.
Sol sets the standard in accurate auto-calibration and seamless alignment for multi-projector displays. This ground-breaking software corrects geometric misalignment and balances brightness intensity while also providing exceptional image quality by minimizing resampling artifacts.
Sol works with any type of projectors, front and rear projection setups and supports both wide field of view displays and complex surface geometries, including: flat, cylindrical, spherical and multi-faceted.
Sol HPS
Designed for displays used for multiple content applications that are driven by a video wall controller or a computer. Supports flat and slightly curved surfaces. Delivered via download or CD to install on a PC or laptop running Windows 7, Vista or XP. Integrates with Harmony to deliver the calibration solution to the display.
Sol IGS
Designed for displays running a single application, such as simulators, planetariums and other dedicated purpose displays. Supports complex display geometries, such as domes, cylinders, cave-like displays. Delivered on a specially configured Linux server. Integrates directly with the image generator (IG) via the Sol API, or can connect to the content source via Harmony or Projection Design’s Multi Image Processor.
Sol GPU
Designed for displays relying on a Windows 7, multi-head GPU graphics card to deliver content. Supports flat and cylindrical displays. Delivered via download or CD. Provides a fully integrated software-only warp/blend solution in which no other hardware is needed.
OEMs
Mersive OEM partners provide customers with complete solutions that have been optimized by incorporating Mersive software. Any version of Sol software can be licensed on an OEM basis to be embedded into finished products. Mersive also develops customized versions of Sol software to meet the needs of specific OEM partners.

Delta Solarium
Provides a size, image quality and price that transforms engineering labs, product design centers, medical research facilities and conference rooms into collaborative work spaces. Solarium integrates Delta’s ultra short-throw projectors with a light-weight screen and Mersive’s patented auto-calibration and pixel processing software.
IDS Immersive Desktop
The Immersive Desktop from Immersive Display Solutions integrates Mersive’s Sol software with a unique, curved screen desktop display, providing a cost and space effective single-user immersive solution for training or data analysis.
