Meet Travis! Travis and his team of customer support representatives are the brilliant people behind solving all our customers’ technical issues.

What is your role at Mersive and what do you do?
Customer Support Manager

Before working at Mersive, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I used to design and support digital planetarium and giant screen theaters. In fact, my introduction to Mersive was back when Mersive’ s product was Sol. I used the software to align multiple projectors on anything but flat surfaces. I always had great support from the team here and always thought it would be a fun place to work due to the company’s innovation.

If you could switch your job with anyone else within Mersive, whose job would you want?
Media Specialist. This role works on all Mersive videos and imagery. I geek out in my personal time editing photos and videos, so I’d love to be able to dig into my creative side at work.

People would be surprised if they knew what about you.
I went to film school for writing and directing which ended when I got involved in live AV.

What did you want to be when growing up?
In chronological order: Electrical engineer, professional mountain bike racer, writer/ director.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Ski, fly fish, hike, camp, photography and most of all showing my two boys how much fun these things are in what is my favorite place in the world- Colorado!

Where have you lived?
Southern Colorado, San Francisco and now Conifer – a small mountain town about 36 miles west of Denver.

What has been the most important innovation you have witnessed in your lifetime?
Internet. Just about everything we do requires access to it.

What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?
Learn some programming languages

Would you rather be a tiny elephant or a giant hamster?
Giant hamster

What advice do you have for prospective Mersive candidates?
Come to Mersive with an open mind and a lust for learning. The people here are amazing, and you’ll find yourself working at a place where opportunity to develop professionally is boundless.

What are your hopes for our industry?
I spent many years in the live AV industry forcing presenter’s displays down wires. I’m always amazed at how much easier it is these days with wireless technology to share content. I hope that we continue to improve this already impressive technology and find even more innovative ways to simplify and enhance the modern workplace.

Favorite perk at Mersive.
Hands down my favorite perk are our offsite team activities like scaling 14,000’ peaks or skiing down 13,000’ ones.
