The Opportunity:

Mersive is seeking an HR Generalist to assist with the administration of HR functions including onboarding/offboarding, recruitment, benefits and more. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the process of company-wide employee changes including new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations.

  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS.

  • Administers various employee benefits programs, such as medical, flexible spending accounts, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.

  • Assist benefit selection and coordination of annual open enrollment process.

  • Administers employee recognition, feedback, and performance programs or initiatives.

  • Screen applicant resumes, coordinate phone/in-person interviews.

  • Completing Forms I-9, verifying I-9 documentation and maintaining I-9 files.

  • Submitting online investigation requests and assisting with background checks.

  • Facilitate new hire orientations.

  • Front-line support for day-to-day human resources functions and employee or manager requests.

  • Assist with or lead HR Special Projects.

  • Assist with compliance requirements.

  • Other job related-duties and responsibilities as requested.

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience as an HR Administrator, HR Coordinator, HR Generalist or similar role.

  • Successful track record that shows business impact through driving HR initiatives.

  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices and ability to navigate complex employee situations.

  • High degree of professionalism, integrity and judgement especially as it relates to the ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to relate professionally with all-levels of the organization.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to use judgment to field inquiries professionally and efficiently.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
