February 2014

Yesterday, Mersive introduced Solstice SGE – the small group edition of our award-winning Solstice software. The new product provides all the same functionality at half the price, the difference is that it only allows a maximum of four users to share the screen at one time. This is especially useful in small group settings, huddle rooms, study nooks, yet it can also be used in larger room settings where only a couple of people will be using the screen at a time to present to the group. Solstice SGE is available through all of our existing distributors and resellers.  For more information, read the press release.

Sol GPU Update Coming Soon

At the end of this month, Mersive will be releasing a Sol GPU update.  In this new version, a second calibration computer is no longer needed.  This new version supports several lower cost cameras, and provides improved brightness checks. In the new version, you will be able to change image mode (fill, letterbox, and overscan) without needing to recalibrate.  The improved user interface and the addition of enhanced in-product help files and troubleshooting increase ease-of-use.  If you or your customers are currently running Sol GPU and you have a maintenance plan in place, please contact support@mersive.com to receive the update.  If your maintenance plan has expired or you need to check on your status, please contact sales@mersive.com.
