What’s been happening at Mersive Technologies.

InfoComm this year provided many attendees their first opportunity to see Mersive’s recently-launched Solstice Pod in action live, and they kept the Mersive team busy with a record number of visitors passing through our booth. But it was not just visitors to the booth that were captivated by Mersive’s newest product. Industry experts took notice as well, and the Solstice Pod took home two industry-leading awards from the show. The Pod received Commercial Integrator’s BEST Award for the Collaboration category, as well as AV Technology’s Best of Show Award.

Both awards employed industry experts to rank products based on judging criteria such as innovative features, performance, competitive advantages, and price. What sets the Pod apart from other collaboration solutions is its unique set of user features, deployment/management flexibility, and breakthrough price levels. “[Solstice] seems like the best balance between science fiction and practical,” commented one InfoComm attendee after seeing a demo of Solstice. “I could easily see instructors and students adopting Mersive.”

Mersive Partners with SystemTechnology-i for Japanese Distribution and Translation 

Solstice will be available in Japan beginning in September of this year thanks to Mersive’s new partnership with distributor System Technology-i Co. Ltd., a leading provider of paperless meeting solutions and corporate learning management systems. Included in the partnership is an agreement for translation of Solstice to the Japanese language. This marks the first time Solstice will be available in a language other than English and is a step toward internationalization of the Solstice product line.

As the sole distributor of Solstice in Japan, System Technology-i will bring Solstice to resellers and customers in the new international market beginning with corporate and education sectors. Solstice will be added to the distributor’s iStudy paperless solutions portfolio, expanding the product line up to encompass wireless collaboration to serve modern meeting environments.
