May 2014

The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Ross School of Business at the University of Michiganrecently announced the selection of Solstice software to enhance visual collaboration on their campuses.  In both cases Solstice will empower students and instructors to achieve new levels of interaction by enabling anyone with a mobile device or laptop to connect, share and control a display.

In higher ed settings, Solstice’s “Podium” mode allows instructors to lead a classroom discussion or lecture by moderating the content shared to the display, while “Roundtable” mode supports open collaboration with equal sharing rights among all participants of the Solstice session. Additionally, Solstice enables IT administrators to centrally manage the Solstice displays across a campus, transforming the displays into network devices that are part of the IT infrastructure.
