Q3 Sets a New Record for Mersive

It has been six months since the initial release of Solstice. While Q2 was focused on driving awareness, partner development and related launch activities, Q3 was all about closing sales. Thanks to the work of many of our sales partners, Q3 was the largest quarter in the company’s history by a large margin. The record quarter was driven not only by Solstice sales, in fact Sol accounted for an equal amount of revenue. Solstice enabling lots of content to be shared at once from laptops and mobile devices is driving demand for even more display real estate – for which Sol is a perfect solution. With more than 200 corporate enterprises, higher ed institutions and government agencies trialing Solstice, we expect to see continued momentum into Q4 and Q1 of 2014.

Customer Spotlight: Hotel Zetta Leading the Way in Display Technology

The CNET TV show “Always On” ran a feature this week highlighting how hotels are using cutting-edge technology as a new amenity. Hotel Zetta in San Francisco was featured as the “highest of the high tech” hotels. The profile includes a look at Zetta’s high-tech conference room available to business travelers that features a Delta WX which uses Sol to create its perfectly aligned and blended image, and it is also running Solstice to enable wireless visual collaboration.

Sol Updates

While much attention has been given to Solstice as a new product in 2013, Mersive has also continued to incorporate new innovations into the Sol product. Some of the new features added to Sol GPU so far in 2013 include:

  • Calibration performance improvements resulting in a 50% reduction of initial calibration time.
  • One click re-calibration takes half the time of the initial callibration, saving additional time.
  • Updated blending algorithms make edge blending results even more seamless.

Solstice 1.2 Update

More information about the newest Solstice release will be coming later this month. The new version will include enhanced video streaming capabilities including audio, and the Solstice Dashboard, which enables IT administrators to configure and manage all the Solstice displays throughout the enterprise from a central location. Stay tuned in the weeks ahead for details and availability.
