AI that keeps the room shipshape, not the meetin'.
Polaris be a fleet o' Linux devices reportin' to one cloud, which makes it a fine place fer AI to do the unglamorous work. It can find the room that be about to fail, explain why, an' fix it. That be where Polaris AI starts, matey.
The room already carries the silicon aboard.
Polaris was designed from the keel up to run AI in our products rather than to have it bolted on later. Polaris Pro carries an on-die NPU rated at 9.6 TOPS at minimum precision, which be enough to run a language model at the edge, so the data an' the processin' stay on the device an' in the room instead o' leavin' the buildin' to be inferred somewhere else an' sailin' back. The silicon be only half of it. Every room reports to one cloud over one outbound connection with one identity per device, an' that fleet be reachable through a documented API, so what makes Polaris a place to put AI be as much how the cloud an' the APIs be built as what be inside the box. We reckon AI will keep producin' real innovation in AV on both sides o' the room, fer the crew in the meetin' an' fer the administrators who run hundreds o' them.
As we draw near to AI feature releases we'll list them here fer the comin' quarter.
MCP server SETS SAIL Q4 2026
A Model Context Protocol server fer Polaris Cloud, so an AI assistant can query an' act on the fleet directly. Ask which rooms be unreachable, why a room rebooted last night, or which sites be behind on firmware, an' get an answer from the fleet rather than from a dashboard some poor soul has to read.
AI aboard the pod
Both shippin' chassis already carry the silicon. Polaris Pro runs an on-die NPU, which MediaTek calls the APU. MediaTek's documentation rates it at 4.8 TOPS (INT8), or 9.6 TOPS at minimum precision (INT4), the convention MediaTek uses fer its current Genio series. Polaris Essentials carries 3.2 TOPS aboard.
In the meetin', accessibility first SETS SAIL Q4 2026
The first AI most o' the crew will meet be live subtitlin'. 'Tis an accessibility feature before 'tis an AI feature, an' just as useful fer anyone followin' a meetin' in their second tongue.
Two audiences. One fleet. Not one problem, matey.
AI in a meetin' room be worth somethin' to two people who be never in the room at the same time. One be the IT manager who runs a thousand rooms; the other be the end user sittin' in one o' them.
Fer the IT manager, this be a retrieval problem. Every Polaris room already reports to one cloud, over one outbound connection, with one identity per device, so an assistant that can answer “which rooms be about to fail an' why” be readin' data that exists today. That be why the first step on this side be an MCP server. The hard part was never the model; 'twas havin' the whole fleet in one harbour to ask about.
Fer the end user, 'tis a real-time problem, an' that be a different engineerin' exercise entirely. It happens inside a live meetin', where latency, where the audio be handled an' where inference actually runs be the design rather than details to settle later.
Polaris + AI
Operate yer entire fleet.
In plain speech.
Ask. Diagnose. Act. Polaris turns plain-spoken intent into governed operations across every room o' the fleet.
Makes governed Polaris capabilities discoverable to any compatible agent that comes aboard.
Sets sail Q4 2026The same secure API yer dashboards an' ITSM workflows already use.
The fleet be the dataset.
The NPU silicon at the top o' this page covers the room. The cloud covers the fleet. Every room already reports to one cloud, over one outbound connection, with one identity per device, an' that fleet be reachable through a documented API rather than a bespoke integration. Polaris be a fine place to put AI as much fer how the cloud an' the APIs around the box be built as fer what be inside the box, an' the fleet data an assistant would need already exists in the product today.
