Industry Outreach
Mersive continues its outreach to the AV, corporate, higher-ed and government sectors. It will be a busy month of customer visits and reseller events, including the CCS Summit in Arizona and the Ford AV Innovate show in Houston.
Solstice will also be featured in a collaborative conference room setup at Midwich’s Technology Exposed. In addition, we are having an Open House on Sept. 18 at our offices in Denver during Denver Startup Week.
Solstice Trials and Training
If you have not yet requested a free Solstice trial and would like one, please complete this form. Once a site has a Solstice display setup, users can download the free client from mersiverevamp.wpengine.com/get-solstice. We continue to run live Solstice webinars on a weekly basis and have a new set of training videos available to those people who have Solstice installed. Solstice 1.2 Coming in October
Mersive is gearing up to release Solstice 1.2 in October. Here is some of what you’ll see in the new release:
- Enhanced video streaming capabilities, including video file streaming from any device using a new “Share Media” feature that allows any Solstice session participant to control (pause, play, etc.) a video posted by anyone else in the session. This also provides synchronized audio playback on the shared display and a faster video stream from mobile devices.
- The Solstice Dashboard enables IT administrators to configure and manage all the Solstice displays throughout the enterprise from a central location. Designed to support large deployments, the Solstice Dashboard provides control over license management, security settings, use mode (Roundtable or Podium), and display appearance.
- The Solstice Directory Service manages the displays listed when users press the “Connect” button. Using the SDS, IT administrators can manage the list of displays available for use throughout a large enterprise.
