AUSA’s new Conference and Events Center in Arlington, VA has a large space designed to support events for up to 400 guests. The technical requirements included allowing seamless collaboration between staff on the main wireless network and visitors on a separate guest network, enabling off-site participants to join events remotely, and supporting various wireless AV inputs for all meeting and event spaces.

Security considerations and the ability to centrally manage the network connected devices were crucial in this deployment. The Solstice Pod is an enterprise-ready solution that can be deployed in dual-network mode to accommodate users on different networks , and all Solstice hosts may be managed through the Solstice Dashboard. Solstice also brings the ‘wow’ factor with ease of use and the ability for anyone on any device to connect to any display in the facility. The Pod was determined to be the perfect solution for the AUSA Conference and Events Center, and MCW was able to deploy the entire system quickly and easily.

From an informal reception area where ad hoc meetings may occur to traditional conference rooms and large presentations halls that can accommodate hundreds of guests, meeting spaces across the center each feature a Solstice Pod. By utilizing Solstice, AUSA transformed every display into a collaboration hub that can accommodate the wide range of laptops and mobile devices that the significant outside traffic brings into the facility.
